RC51 is a Research Committee of the International Sociological Association.
Joining RC51, therefore, means joining ISA first and then choosing RC51 in the affiliation section of the registration form.

RC51 dues for affiliation are:
- Category A countries: USD 25 (students USD 15) for a 4-year period.
- Category B and C countries: USD 10 for a 4-year period.
- Life membership is a onetime payment of USD 50 (USD 20 for country category B or C) after the age (70) when ISA life-membership becomes possible according to the ISA rules.
