The RC51 Open Online Activity launched in the autumn 2024 continues in September 2026.
The first of the three autumn sessions focuses on HOPE.
These sessions have been organized to meet at regular interval to discuss current themes of research in the Sociocybernetic framework. Launching this kind of activity is based on ideas of co-learning and co-innovation. The choice of concepts to discuss has been made during the process taking into consideration the interests of the participants. The participants in the last session in spring 20.5.2026 focusing on LOVE and INTELLIGENCE chose HOPE for a concept to start the autumn term with.
The activity continues in the autumn 2026 with altogether three sessions: 30.9., 28.10. and 2.12. All these sessions will take place on Wednesdays on Zoom at 3:00 – 4:30 pm Finnish time.
We are delighted that so many already have been able to join this activity with their experiences and thoughts. During the past two years these sessions have functioned as a place to present preliminary ideas related to the concepts discussed, to propose new concepts for next session, to get informal feedback of other participants when preparing presentations, to enrich own thinking when preparing articles, to develop own teaching, to introduce students to academic networks etc. Based on these experiences, we encourage all interested participants to join and continue developing this activity further.
Register in advance to the session focusing on the concept of HOPE to be organized on Wednesday 30th September 2026 at 3:00 – 4:30 pm Finnish time
